Welcome to Lumis List. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension collects, uses, and protects your information. Our core principle is to collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide and improve our service.

Information We Collect

Lumis List is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or IP address.

• Locally Stored Data: All the lists you create, including product names, URLs, images, prices, and custom themes, are stored locally on your own computer using Chrome's built-in storage (`chrome.storage.local`). This data is not transmitted to our servers unless you choose to share a list.
• Shared Page Data: When you choose to use the "Share List" feature, the content of that specific list is sent to our secure Cloudflare service to generate a public webpage. This data is stored in Cloudflare's KV storage to serve the page to anyone with the link.

How We Use Information

We do not track your browsing history. The extension's code only activates when you interact with it directly (by clicking the extension icon or using the context menu).

• Local Data: Your locally stored lists are used solely to provide the core functionality of the extension within your browser.
• Shared Page Data: Data sent to our Cloudflare service is used only to display the public list page you created.

Affiliate Links Disclosure

To support the ongoing development and maintenance of Lumis List, the extension includes affiliate marketing links. This means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through links on supported retail sites.

• Amazon and eBay: For Amazon and eBay sites, we use Chrome's privacy-preserving `declarativeNetRequest` API. This technology allows the browser to modify links to include our affiliate tag without the extension ever reading or having access to your browsing activity on these sites.
• AliExpress: When you add a product from AliExpress to a list, the extension makes a direct, secure API call to our Cloudflare worker. This call sends the product URL and receives a generated affiliate link in return. This process is isolated and does not involve tracking your general browsing.

The use of affiliate links does not affect the price you pay for any products.

Third-Party Services

We use Cloudflare to host our sharing service. When you create a shared page, the data for that page is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure. You can view Cloudflare's privacy policy for more information.

Your Control Over Your Data

You have full control over your data. You can delete any list or product within the extension at any time. You can also clear all locally stored data by clearing the extension's storage in your browser's settings or by uninstalling the extension.
